FarPay | Setting up an SFTP client

Setting up an SFTP client for exchanging files with FarPay

 FarPay supports file exchange via the standard SFTP protocol, and most SFTP clients on the market can be used.

However, FarPay has the most experience with WinSCP, and we have made a free script that can be used for exchanging files.

Instructions:

  1. Click HERE to download the Zip file.

  2. Extract the Zip file to the desired folder.

  3. Open the file Script.txt with e.g. Notepad.

  4. Replace Username and Password with the values Username and Password, which you will find under Settings/SFTP access in the FarPay portal. Click Change password to choose a new password.

  5. Run RunScript.bat to retrieve files from and send files to FarPay. Windows Task Scheduler can also be used to run the script at fixed intervals.


PS!
Files to FarPay must be saved in the Upload folder, from where they are automatically sent to FarPay, and files from FarPay are saved in the Download folder, from where you then process them further internally.
